I only blog book reviews for books I really enjoyed. My annual awards are my way of acknowledging the most enjoyable reads of the year.
I look for books that I can't put down. Where the story carries me away to another place or time. A story that if I do put the book down, I simply can't wait to get back to it. Although, a unique plot is great, I always want to read books that feel 'real' where characters come alive and feel like friends.
They Call Me Crazy by Kelly S Gamble.
Mystery of the Khar Chuluu by Wilson Whitlow
A Richer Dust Concealed by R P Nathan
All three of these great books had fantastic characters and a plot I was gripped by.
Arden, Katherine – The Bear & the Nightingale
Askew, R J – One Swift Summer
Bostic, Yvette – Magister’s Bane
Hahn, Chanda – Lost Girl
Herbel, K C – The Innkeeper’s Son
King, C A – Truly Unfortunate
Krantz, Kayla – The Council
Lang, Cam – The Concrete Vineyard
Roberts, Nora – Year One
Robins, Sean – The Crimson Deathbringer
Taylor, Spaulding – Last Star Standing
I only review books that I am paid to read, or books I really fancy reading during leisure time. Please don’t ask me to read your book without booking my services, I’m sorry, it’s just I simply have too much to read to pick up every book offered to me. Cheers.
